My name is Hunter Block. I was born in Maryville, TN on November 8, 1992 and have played shortstop ever since I was old enough to hold a bat. I played college ball at Middle Tennessee State University and a year of pro ball with the Hickory (NC) Crawdads. I moved to Southern California in 2017 and started keeping a blog in 2018. Almost 250 posts later I’m finally getting to an ‘About’ page.
The blog’s about me, my family, my friends and what I reckon you can call my adventures, both past and present. I live in East Pasadena in the same complex as my best friend Keaton. Me and him play short and 2nd for the Pasadena Parrots, a great group of guys as well as a kickass recreational softball team. I’ve been seeing my girlfriend Joyce for over 2 years now, and, yeah, that’s the longest relationship I’ve ever been in. My favorite food is ice cream and I drive a shitbox. I should be working my front-of-house job in a hotel here in Pasadena, but y’all can guess what’s happened to that, although I’m looking forward to getting back to work as soon as they’ll have me.
I’m also available as a baseball tutor, so if you’ve got a kid who wants to improve his skills, I’m the man to contact.
There’s a lot more ‘About’-type information in the post where I introduce me and my family. And, well, if you wanna get to know me, be my guest and just jump on in and start reading the blog. I hope it’s as fun to read as it is for me to write.
